MICRO ARRAY DIAGNOSTICS (MADX)

Molecular Diagnostics of Allergies

INTRODUCTION

MADX’s product range and systems can cover all our customers’ needs for molecular diagnostics of IgE-based allergies and IgG-mediated food intolerances.

We offer the most comprehensive panel of molecular allergens on one array. This makes our allergy test unique and increases specificity compared to using allergen extracts alone.

Why MADX?

Efficiency

With only one blood sample, we test for 295 allergens, covering nearly 100% of all globally relevant allergens.

Education

Our interactive educational platform - THE MADx ACADEMY - is made by physicians for physicians - stay empowered and at the forefront of science.

Driven by science

We are part of an extensive academic collaboration network and are in constant conversation with the scientific communities from the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe. This mutually beneficial exchange ensures our ability to translate the newest findings in research directly into our products. Our science-oriented philosophy gives us the edge over our competitors in the allergy and food intolerance testing market. We continuously work on developing new applications for our patented nano-bead technology to ensure that we stay ahead of the curve in terms of innovation and quality of our products.

Why MADX?

Individual

Choose between manual or automated systems made for little to a lot of lab space, and low to high through-put.

Easy Handling

The MADx systems are characterised through their easy handling and can be operated easily after a short training period.

Digital Cross-linking

The MADx processing systems are connected to our cloud-based software solution in real time, and data can be analysed and managed 24/7.

Products for labs

Our MADx hardware systems for processing come in three different sizes – one manual and two automated systems, for little to a lot of lab space. Process up to 50 test arrays at the same time, and generate comprehensive results and interpretation with the MADx software solutions.

Revolutionizing molecular diagnostics of allergieS

Multiplex test with up to 300 allergens

ELISA based in-vitro multiplex allergy test

ALEX (Allergy Xplorer) was the first ELISA based in-vitro multiplex allergy test allowing simultaneous measurements of total IgE (tIgE) and specific IgE (sIgE) against a large number of allergen extracts and molecular allergens. ALEX² is its improved successor product with an even larger allergen panel, including the widest range of molecular allergens (178) available on the market. ALEX² improves the quality of diagnosis and makes individualised and evidence-based therapy possible for every patient.

CCD-free detection

Non-specific IgE antibodies against cross-reactive carbohydrate determinants (CCDs) are automatically blocked. High specificity and lower interpretative burden.

Largest molecular allergen panel

Our allergen panel is comprised of 117 allergen extracts and 178 molecular allergens, 60+ of which are unique to our test. This makes it the largest panel of molecular allergens on the IgE allergy testing market.

Precise risk assessment

Our tests offer precise risk assessment (e.g., the risk of anaphylaxis), a complete resolution of cross-reactivities, indication for immunotherapy, as well as differentiated dietary recommendations.

Automatic CCD blocking

Our assay protocol integrates a powerful inhibitor of IgE antibodies directed against cross-reactive carbohydrate determinants (CCDs), which will clear up specific IgE results - this increases the specificity of test results and reduces the interpretative burden for physicians.

SYSTEMS FOR LAB

Our different MADx processing systems were built considering your needs. High through-put, low through-put, a lot of lab space, or no lab space at all – we will make sure that one of our systems is the perfect solution for your individual situation.
